Microsoft will offer Windows 7 Family Pack again

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of Windows 7, Microsoft will bring back its Windows 7 Family Pack promotion in the US on October 3. The company said buyers with valid Windows XP or Vista licenses on a PC that can run Windows 7 can purchase three Windows 7 Home Premium licenses for $150. The last time this identical deal was offered was just before Christmas as a special offer to fuel sales.

The package will be available at select retailers and at the Microsoft Store online. Canadian, UK, German, French, Australian and customers in other markets will get the same deal on October 22, the actual anniversary of the operating system. [via ZDNet]
