Samsung T10 HD camcorder gets angled design

Samsung at IFA launched the HMX-T10 camcorder. It sports the company's distinctive slanted lens, titled at 20 degrees to make the hold more natural for the owner's wrist. The camera can record 1080p video and capture 4.7-megapixel still images with a backside illuminated CMOS sensor that should handle more effectively in low light.

Its f1.8 lens has a 10x zoom, while optical image stabilization helps to keep images sharp. A 2.7-inch touchscreen LCD serves as the primary interface. Prices are kept down by relying primarily on SDHC cards for storage.

The HMX-T10 ships to the US later in September, priced at $299.
