T-Mobile provides some hard G2 specs

T-Mobile on its Scoop pages validated a handful of the specs for the T-Mobile G2. Along with confirming the authenticity of photos and the HSPA+ 3G, it revealed that the HTC Scorpion codename was actually a reference to the 800MHz processor that bears the name. The provider also confirmed that it would use stock Android 2.2 with Flash 10.1 on top.

Few other details are left to mystery; the phone is expected to have a five-megapixel camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi and GPS. A launch is rumored for September 29 and will likely put the phone at a $200 contract price. It may support free 3G tethering and sharing as a reference Android phone blessed by Google.
