Introduced first RF mouse in 1991

Logitech announced that it has shipped its 100 millionth wireless mouse. Logitech started manufacturing wireless mice in 1991 and was the first to use RF cordless technology. Unlike the IR transmission method used in earlier cordless mice, RF technology does not require line-of-sight between the mouse and the receiver.

Logitech is one of the world's main manufacturers of peripherals for personal computing, gaming, and home theater systems. Sales in 2009 topped $2.2 billion worldwide and are still built mostly on the back of its original mouse business.
