DSLR expected at Photokina

Additional details surrounding Olmpus' E-5 DSLR have surfaced, including a purported teaser advertisement and list of specs. The camera is allegedly set to get a 12.1-megapixel sensor, up from the 10.1-megapixel component of the E-3, along with an ISO range from 100-6400, sources have told 4/3 Rumors.

Users will also be able to record 720p video at 30 frames per second, while continuous mode shooting supports up to 6FPS. The magnesium body is said to be weatherproofed, with a three-inch LCD that offers 920,000 dot desolution. Other alleged specs include a CF/SD dual memory slot, 11 point full-twin cross AF sensor, and 11 area multiple AF.

The E-5 is expected to be announced next week ahead of Photokina. Pricing and ship dates remain unclear.
