Archos 32 tablet now shipping for $150

Archos ships $150, Android 2.2-powered tablet


Archos is now shipping its Wi-Fi-equipped, 3.2-inch portable media player that it calls a tablet. The Archos 32 is priced at $150 and also sports Android 2.2 mated to a 3.2-inch, 400x240-resolution touchscreen display. The device is powered by an 800MHz ARM Cortex-A8 and has 8GB of capacity.

Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, a motion sensor and an internal microphone. The device can play back most popular audio, video and photo file formats. The battery is rated to provide users with up to 24 hours of audio playback or six hours of video. [via Engadget]
