Samsung Galaxy Tab US release dates leak
A new source on Friday has set down possible launch windows for the Samsung Galaxy Tab across all planned US carriers. AT&T would be first and ship the Android tablet in mid-October, according to HotHardware's contact. Verizon's EVDO model would have to wait until early November, while Sprint's edition would ship in mid-November; T-Mobile's edition would be last, but doesn't have a fixed release period.
The aim would reportedly be to ship the Galaxy Tab to all planned US carriers before the holidays.
Though unconfirmed so far, the timing would roughly line up with the approach Samsung took to the Galaxy S, where it launched the Captivate for AT&T early and focused on others first. This summer, however, T-Mobile was one of the earliest adopters where Verizon was last. The plans may have to do with plans for a relatively quick Canadian launch through Bell and Rogers, both of whom share AT&T's 3G frequencies.
