Best Buy to offer Free Phone Fridays in October

Best Buy Mobile on Tuesday announced it will start a Free Phone Fridays promotion on every Friday in October, starting October 1. There will be four phones available to represent AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. They will cost nothing but will require signing a two-year contract.

The deals will be available in Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile specialty stores, as well as online. The phones will be popular smartphones, with the first batch on October 1 will include the HTC Aria from AT&T, the BlackBerry Curve from Sprint, the Samsung Gravity 3 from T-Mobile and the Samsung Fascinate from Verizon.

Later deals will be announced at 1PM on the Thursday before Free Phone Friday. A minimum amount of each handset will be sent to stores, and vary by store.
