Dual noise-cancelling, compact and lightweight

Denon has introduced its AH-NC800 dual noise-cancelling travel headphones. Incorporating dual noise cancelling technology, the noise from outside the headphones is cut by up to 99 percent. This is the result of two microphones; one that cancel the noise from the outside, and a secondary mic that further suppresses external sound that might leak inside the headphones. Designed for digital portable music players, the headphones incorporate Denon’s Compressed Audio Restorer active circuitry that reconstructs MP3 and MP4 recordings so they sound more natural and akin to the original source recording.

The headphones include a pair of high-quality 42mm drivers, and detachable OFC cables with gold-plated plugs. They will also deliver up to 40 hours of noise cancelling from one AAA battery. The lightweight headband includes eleven comfort adjustment steps ensuring that users can wear them for extended periods in comfort.

The AH-NC800 headphones will arrive in October and will retail for $350. [via Pocket-lint]
