HTC Spark with WP7 shown off in photos

Photos of what seems to be a pre-production HTC Spark have appeared thanks to a member of the XDA Developers forum. Fishawy posted multiple photos of the device, both running and otherwise. It appears to be a handset meant for the Middle Eastern market, though the region is set for the UK in settings. The photos show off some features of Windows Phone 7.

First is the HTC Hub app, with little known about its functionality. It is likely to contain a number of HTC's own widgets, for things such as note taking, stock information and more. It may also be a place to get more HTC apps, though the Windows Phone Marketplace will exist for that.

Onboard storage is set at 8GB according to the photos, and other specs include a 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, a 3.8-inch, 480x800 touchscreen and 576MB of RAM. A standalone GPS and assisted GPS functionality are integrated. An FM radio, 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi are likewise onboard.

When and if the Spark will reach North American stores is unknown.
