T-Mobile G2 to arrive at Radio Shack 3 days early

The T-Mobile G2 smartphone will arrive three days early at Radio Shack stores, on October 3, a source claimed in supplying a purportedly leaked flyer to Engadget. The device is due to ship at other retailers on October 6. The handset will ship with Android 2.2 and include a five-megapixel camera with 720p recording and flash.

There will otherwise be 4GB of storage space built-in, and the G2 will be the first HSPA+ phone, with support for 3G at up to 14.4Mbps. Processing is handled by an 800MHz Qualcomm CPU.

Starting October 3, the T-Mobile G2 will cost $150 on a two-year contract that has a $30 data plan included. T-Mobile and most other suppliers are pricing the G2 at $200.
