Modu to announce T Phone this Sunday

Israel-based Modu will soon officially unveil its first Android phone, the tiny T Phone, on October 10, Gadgety reported today. The device, spotted earlier this year, will be the smallest phone running on Android, and will ship unlocked for use on nearly any CDMA or GSM carrier. Modu is known to make modular devices, with skins that add functions and features.

The small handset is expected to get a hardware QWERTY keyboard, speakers and other unknown add-ons that won't be included with the basic handset. The barebones device should have Wi-Fi built-in, however.

What these new modules will be, as well as prices and release dates for the handset and accessories, are expected to be announced on Sunday at the press event.
