Sprint CTIA keynote covered live

Electronista is at Sprint's fall CTIA keynote, where it unveiled Sprint ID and the Android-based LG Optimus S, Samsung Transform and Sanyo Zio. We provided updates from the event as they happened. Check below the break for updates as they appeared in Eastern time.

5:32PM: Demo rooms for the phones and Sprint ID afterwards. Wrapping up.

5:30PM: Radio Shack chief up: talking about how the ID phones could bring the experiences to life.

5:28PM: ID packs can even be useful for business; tow truck company as an example. Customized experience without having to create it all themselves. The phones will be available both in shops and at Radio Shack.

5:23PM: LatCel to put out Hispanic Sprint ID packs.

5:21PM: HSN's ID pack will have streaming HD video.

5:20PM: ESPN's ID is completely themed; wallpapers, widgets, apps.

eBay Sprint ID focuses on discovering apps and auctions. An information hub for bidding and purchases. Users get flagged for new apps.

5:16PM: Disney partnering up too. ESPN to have live sports, Disney to have Mickey Mouse. ABC involved as well.

5:!4PM: Partners: ESPN, E!, Electronic Arts, many more. E!'s app has Kardashian, Red Carpet and other entertainment apps.

5:12PM: CEO Dan Hesse on stage: 3 out of 4 owners don't know how to use the majority of features on their phones. Finding the right content is intimidating.

Sprint ID: Download a pack of apps, ringtones, wallpapers and more. Five separate packs at once. Gets more users into the smartphone world.

Samsung Transform, Sanyo Zio, LG Optimus S. Android only.

5:05PM: Event is just starting. Promo video talking about difficult setup.
