Latest Amazon Kindle coming to Staples on Sunday

Staples announced on Thursday it will begin carrying the Amazon Kindle range, with the latest Kindle e-book reader kicking off sales this Sunday, October 10. The Kindle and Kindle 3G will be offered at Amazon's usual $139 and $189, respectively, with the larger, 9.7-inch Kindle DX arriving in mid-November for $379. Accessories will be sold alongside the devices as well.

Each Staples store will have a display dedicated to the Kindle devices that will allow potential buyers to interact with them. The Kindle's popularity is growing, as Best Buy and Target also carries the devices. It remains Amazon's best selling product, and digital books outsell their paper hardcover counterparts through the online store.
