Cricket Crosswave MiFi mobile hotspot up for pre-order

Cricket has listed the Crosswave MiFi for pre-order on its website. The device is manufactured by Huawei technologies and offers high-speed internet access for up to four devices (3 wireless) at once. It has a 33 feet range and is capable of downlink speeds of 3.1Mbps and uplink speeds of 1.8Mbps.

The CDMA/WiFi 802.121b/g device is self-powered and comes equipped with a 1150mAh lithium-ion battery which is capable of delivering up to 3 hours of user, or 90 hours on stand-by. It also lets users send and receive text messages in all Cricket wireless broadband coverage areas. It also has a microSD slot for back up storage up to 32GB.

It retails for $150, but when combined with a $20 web-only discount and mail-in rebate of $25, can be had for $105.
