Hyundai shows prototype 70-inch multi-touch table

At the Kintex show in Korea this week, Hyundai IT is showing off a touch-enabled computer concept that resembles a coffee table. This should sound familiar, as Microsoft has had a similar product a couple of years back with the Surface. Specs of the 70: Table Monitor are relatively scarce, but the 70-inch screen offers 1080p resolution and multi-touch inputs. Whether the table has some kind of mechanism for lifting it up to use as a regular TV is also unknown.

What market Hyundai IT aims this prototype at or even if it will mass market it remains to be seen. [via Akihabara]
