BlackBerry Storm 3 pops up in Verizon system

Yet another leak from a Cellebrite machine shows that a BlackBerry Storm 3 will soon arrive at Verizon. Thanks to Phone Arena, this latest leak suggests the 9570 is back from the dead, and an earlier report hints that the device may be out in October or November.

The Cellebrite devices, such as the one shown here, load a carrier's software onto devices. Preliminary specs for the latest Storm handset include a capacitive touchscreen, BlackBerry 6, 512MB of RAM and a five-megapixel camera.

It will be powered either by a 624MHz CPU or a carried over 528MHz chip used in other CDMA BlackBerry handsets. Wi-Fi is likely built-in, along with a hotspot sharing feature.
