Orange gets HTC 7 Mozart and Samsung Omnia 7
Orange UK today outlined the Windows Phone 7 devices that will make up its Windows Phone 7 launch. The company will launch the HTC 7 Mozart and Samsung Omnia 7. Each will have a preloaded set of Orange-themed apps and services, but Microsoft's guidelines will keep the home screens of each clean.
Both devices have 1GHz processors and 8GB of space, with the primary differences revolving around display. HTC's phone has a 3.7-inch LCD, while the Samsung phone moves up to the four-inch Super AMOLED screen also seen on the Focus in the US.
As part of the launch, Orange plans both to open its British stores early, at 7AM, and to give out a free Bluetooth headset to every launch day buyer. Every phone is optionally available for free depending on the cost of the contract, starting at £35 for a 7 Mozart and £40 for the Omnia 7.
