Sony PS2 bundle celebrates 10-year anniversary
In an unconventional move, Sony on Wednesday announced it will soon ship a PlayStation 2 bundle that includes Toy Story 3: The Video Game. Due to ship on October 31, the bundle is meant to mark the aging system's 10-year birthday. In its long life, the best-selling system saw more than 2,000 games created.
The bundle is the same slim model as before and includes a DualShock 2 gamepad. It will be available in stores for just $99, which is the same price as the regular PS2 without any games. Back in 2000, the PS2 system cost $300.
