Hulu Plus rumored getting price cut to 5
Hulu may be slashing the price of Hulu Plus in half due to lack of demand, based on info from tipsters. The normally $10 service would drop to $5. When or how certain this was wouldn't be said, but AllThingsD noted that this would most likely be due to poor adoption rates in the early phases.
The service was intended as way not only to provide a direct revenue source for Hulu rather than relying solely on ads, and has been regarded as appealing to content providers that are hesitant to put their content on TVs for free but would be ready to do the same for a direct cut of revenue. It serves as a superset of the free site with more shows and a longer history of episodes. Hulu has blocked Google TV and other TV-sized platforms but has been in talks for Hulu Plus.
So far, the in-testing Plus service has only been available for iOS devices and the PS3 but is coming directly to some TVs, Blu-ray players and the Xbox 360.

Where's the money?
So, as far as the content providers are concerned, a $5/month, all you can eat deal is OK, but AppleTV's $1 per each episode and viewing rentals are too cheap? With logic like this, no wonder they're in trouble.
