T-Mobile myTouch HD to get hotspot, four colors

A pair of leaks sent to TmoNews show that the T-Mobile myTouch is confirmed to have hotspot functionality and be available in four colors. Also, the phone will be known as the myTouch HD, as images of accessories reveal. The leaked hotspot instructions show that users will have the option of tethering other Wi-Fi devices to the smartphone's data connection.

The other leak shows images of four colors for the handset, which include white, black, red or plum.

Previously, it was believed the phone would be called just the myTouch or possibly the myTouch 4G, though this last title would reflect T-Mobile's marketing claims and not its actual speed. The phone has a second-generation 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.8-inch, 800x480 touchscreen, dual cameras and 720p video recording. It supports T-Mobile's HSPA+ network up to 14.4Mbps and has a pre-installed 8GB microSDHC memory card.

Despite the leaks, there is no indication of prices or ship dates for the handset.
