Features secondary Ticker screen
Another leak from Verizon has confirmed some of the earlier reports about the upcoming Samsung Continuum. According to the latest source, the new handset will be virtually identical the Samsung Fascinate and other Galaxy S phones, including a 1GHz processor, a five megapixel camera, and mobile hotspot capability. The obvious differences spotted by Droid-Life are a a 3.4-inch, 480x800 AMOLED main screen and a 96x400 secondary display.
The Continuum also ships with 8GB installed memory versus the Fascinate's 16GB. The latest leak contradicts several earlier rumors about the Continuum. The handset's 3.4-inch main screen is smaller than the Fascinate's (4 inches), and will not come with Android 2.2. The latest leak indicates the Continuum will still have Android 2.1 installed.
Speculation has the Continuum as the focus of the upcoming Samsung Android-related event on November 8.
