Samsung details next generation OLED Max displays

Also intros new teaser video for OLED tech


Samsung has announced the details of its next generation of OLED displays, OLED Max. The new technology is more color accurate and displays images closer to their natural color. The improvements have come as the result of using new algorithms for color harmonization, detail enhancement, and intelligent contrast enhancement.

The size of the new IC is 6(h)x6(w)x0.6(t) mm. It supports image resolution up to 800x1024, and includes RGB, 3/4-Wire SPI and I2C interfaces. It has also begun outlining the roadmap beyond OLED Max, called OLED Max II. Also surfacing on the company website is a new teaser video for its OLED display technology included below.
