Update adds V Cast Apps, Slacker, more

As expected, Verizon has begun rolling a software update for Droid Incredible handsets. The latest software brings Verizon's own V Cast Apps store, which will be available alongside Google's Android Market. Users will also be able to take advantage of an updated version of the Slacker Radio application, along with the latest Flash Player release.

Other changes include improved support for Yahooo e-mail, Wi-Fi improvements for Visual Voicemail, and Google Maps enhancements.

Software update v3.26.605.1 is arriving as an over-the-air download. It is being released gradually, likely to reach most customers by the end of the week. [via Droid Life]
