Onkyo shows Win 7 tablet with 3G in Japan

Onkyo in Japan has just released its latest Windows 7-powered tablet, the 11.6-inch TW317A7. The slate is nearly identical to the TW317A5 released in September but adds a KDDI 3G module for a broadband data connection. Processing power comes courtesy of Intel's 1.66GHz Atom CPU paired with 2GB of RAM.

Screen resolution is above average for slates, at 1366x768, and it integrates a 1.3-megapixel camera. The new tablet also gets ExTOUCH software that will improve Windows 7's touch input experience by way of a dedicated app launcher. Storage comes from a 32GB SSD, and both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are accounted for.

Rounding off the specs are a card reader, two USB 2.0 ports and stereo speakers. Pricing for the device is unknown but may see it ship only to Japan on an official level.
