Content quickly pulled from site

Verizon appears to have accidentally posted 360-degree views of HTC's Merge handset ahead of the official unveiling. The images, which were quickly pulled from Verizon's site but recorded by Android Central, show the device in its compact form and with the full QWERTY keyboard deployed.

When the Merge officially arrives on Verizon, it will be the carrier's first HTC-built offering with a QWERTY slider. The device is expected to feature a 3.8-inch touchscreen, along with a second-generation Snapdragon processor.

Earlier leaks suggested the device might be launched sometime before the end of this week, although separate sources claim it will arrive sometime next week. None of the screenshots corroborate rumors of LTE functionality, but the handset is expected to support GSM bands when traveling abroad.
