DODOcase now offering handmade cases for Kindle 3

DODOcase, known for its specialty case for the iPad, has just launched Kindle 3 covers. Each DODOcase is leather and handmade by artisans in San Francisco with the same traditional bookbinding techniques and tools used for Apple's tablet. The interior of the cases are made of bamboo to protect the Kindle.

An integrated elastic like that of a Moleskine notebook keeps the Kindle in the case.

Red DODOcases for the Kindle are priced at nearly $50, while the other light blue, dark blue, charcoal, pink and green covers cost $55. Buyers need to wait between two and three weeks for their ordered cases to be made.
