Hannspad loaded with Froyo and Tegra 2
Hannspree has given Electricpig a chance to play with pre-production version of its forthcoming 10.1-inch Android 2.2 (Froyo) tablet, the Hannspad. It includes a custom Hanspree UI, which is most noticeable on the ‘portlets’ page, which features three customizable widgets. The device is powered by the dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform. A video of the device in action is included below.
The Hannspad has a microSD slot, HDMI output, headphone jack, and 16GB of internal memory. It weighs 750g, and its battery life is an estimated eight hours. When it is released in the UK in December, it will only be available in a Wi-Fi model with a 3G version set to ship next year.
No details of its US availability have emerged to date, although it will be selling in the UK for the equivalent of $560. [via Electricpig]
