iBuyPower outs Mage XLC M1 liquid cooled 6-core PC

iBuyPower wrapped up the week with an AMD version of one of its more aggressive liquid-cooled PCs. The Mage XLC M1 uses a hands-off Asetek cooling system combined with AMD's six-core Phenom II X6. Moving to the system gives gamers a very parallel system that should still be quiet and carry built-in headroom for overclocking.

The entire system comes in an NZXT Phantom full tower and aims at the mid-range in its standard trim. A 2.8GHz Phenom II X6 comes standard along with 8GB of RAM, a Radeon HD 5770 and a 1TB hard drive. Options can bring it to a 3.2GHz Black Edition, freely overclockable chip as well as up to a GeForce GTX 580 for video, 16GB of RAM and dual storage drives that include as much as two 2TB conventional disks or 256GB solid-state drives.

The system is available today and costs $1,099 as-is, though users can scale back the processor and other options to lower the price.
