Sanyo intros four new portable projectors

Projectors geared for education, business
Sanyo has expanded its line of projectors with four new portable models geared for education and business use. Each of the projectors features long-life lamps claimed to run for approximately 6,000 hours, while the high-efficiency filters are said to last approximately 5,500 hours before requiring replacement.
The PLC-WK2500 offers 1280x800 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, with 3,000:1 contrast ratio and 2500 lumens brightness. The XK3010 model steps down to 1024x768 resolution, 2,000:1 contrast ratio and 3,000 lumens brightness. The XK2600 and XK2200 both offer the same resolution as the XK3010, but with lower lumen ratings.
The WK2500 will be available later this month with an official price of $995. The XK models are not expected until December, with prices of $1,145 for the PLC-XK3010, $995 for the PLC-XK2600 and $845 for the PLC-XK2200.
