HTC Knight to get dual-core CPU, 8MP cam?

The HTC Knight, which was first heard of at the end of October, will be a 4G phone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, BGR said on Monday. The phone, which has also been rumored to be called the Speedy when it is said to arrive at Sprint on January 6, may be offered with a dual-core processor. An unnamed source said there should be an eight-megapixel camera onboard.

Also corroborating earlier information by the source is the presence of a 3.7-inch screen and Android 2.2, though the early unit has a 1GHz CPU. The source explained that a dual-core processor with a higher clock speed may be a possibility at launch. Despite this, it will not be a flagship offering, and may turn out to be Sprint's version of the HTC Desire Z, albeit with slightly higher specs.
