ATT and Microsoft start BOGO holiday deal for WP7
AT&T and Microsoft today hoped to keep Windows Phone 7 sales and today unveiled a Buy One Get One deal (BOGO) for Black Friday. Those who visit an AT&T store and buy the HTC Surround, LG Quantum or Samsung Focus can get another one of the devices for free. All of them cost $199 and need a two-year contract on each of the two lines for the deal.
The promo doesn't have a set end date but still includes the free Entertainment Pack "while supplies last," which brings three months of a Zune Pass subscription, a free download for ilomilo and a free U-Verse Mobile video.
BOGO sales are usually used to help keep sales going after initial demand has died down, although they have gradually been moved up closer to launch to fend off competition. Initial reports have suggested that AT&T faced small queues for Windows Phone 7 on November 8 and thus that both AT&T and Microsoft may be determined to avoid any slowdown in the immediate wake of the debut. AT&T's main smartphone, the iPhone, has never been available in a BOGO deal or other significant discount beyond refurbished models.

A better solutions.
With today's economy, MS has to do better than that to attract buyers. It should be BOGOGH... Buy One Get One Free and You Get Hired as MS employee.
