Branson to unveil iPad magazine for November 30
Virgin founder Richard Branson today sent out invites to a launch event for an iPad-specific magazine on November 30. So far known as Project, it should focus on a variety of topics that include business, culture, design, entertainment and travel. Other details would come at the New York City gathering.
The debut would be timed roughly a week before an unconfirmed but widely suspected News Corp. tablet magazine on December 9, whose release might be co-hosted by Apple CEO Steve Jobs. The company co-founder is known to be a champion of the iPad as a vehicle for news and has taken to promoting both the appearances of established paper publications like the New York Times as well as non-traditional sources like Flipboard, Pulse and Reeder. Releasing magazines and other outlets on the iPad first may help reduce the desire from publishers to support Android tablets and could establish Apple's early reputation in the field.
Known publications so far only involve native apps, but Apple is still rumored to be developing an iPad newsstand feature that would aggregate and auto-download periodicals, possibly in the background. The News Corp. project may bring app subscription support in an iOS update.

Oh no!
Your iPad will be infected with page after page of that hideous man groping his hostesses with an enormous s-h-i-t-eating grin on his face. Don't say I didn't warn you...
