Apple Cyber Monday discounts go live
The Apple Store today kicked off a post-Thanksgiving Monday sale that has swung attention to accessories and some of Apple's secondary services. Audio is a focus and sees Beats' Beatbox speaker dock and Solo HD headphones drop down by $40 and $20 respectively, to $360 and $180. M-Audio's KeyStudio 49 MIDI keyboard has also been discounted from $100 to $70, and Edifier's Prisma E3350 speakers have had their price lowered to $117.
Other higher-tier electronics getting a discount include Panasonic's HM-TA1 pocket camcorder dropping $15 to $153 and G-Technology's new 320GB G-Drive Slim falling to $90.
The rest of the sales focus on cases and stands. Kate Spade's notebook case has seen the steepest discount, falling from its regular $450 to $405. A Kenneth Cole Messenger Bag, a Michael Kors iPad case and a Cole Haan Zip Wallet have been trimmed from $130 to $117. Kors' iPhone Wallet Clutch is now $72, and Twelve South's Compass Portable Stand for the iPad is $36.
Apple hasn't lowered prices on its own devices, but the company has offered free gift wrapping on any iPad or iPod as well as some MacBooks for any system ordered through the store.

Apple will grasp the true meaning of a "sale," or in particular, a Black Friday Sale. Obviously, that day won't come this year.
