Tablet aimed at holiday buyers
Coby has introduced an Android tablet, the Kyros MID7015, aimed at budget-conscious consumers. The device integrates a seven-inch display with 800x480 resolution, while 4GB of internal memory can be supplemented with a microSD card. Android 2.1 is powered by an 800MHz processor, which is also claimed to be capable of HDMI output in 1080p and 720p resolutions.
The Kyros sits among several other budget Android tablets headed to the market before the holidays, including the $100 Maylong iPad clone, available at Walgreens, and the $150 Augen tablet that was leaked in a Kmart flyer. The Kyros specs also closely match the CherryPad America tablet, which sells for $188.
The Kyros is now available at retailers for a suggested price of $250. [via HotHardware]
