Sony outs 22-inch 720p HDTV with integrated PS2

Sony has released a unique new HDTV in Europe, the 22-inch Bravia KDL-22PX300. The set is the first with built-in PlayStation 2 console, letting users watch DVD movies and play PS2 games. The set outputs a 720p image and has an unusually wide-ranging four HDMI inputs.

An Ethernet port brings the set online, and an optional USB accessory provides Wi-Fi. There are otherwise three USB ports, a 21-pin SCART video connector, VGA input and component video jacks. UK owners get a Freeview tuner to pick up over-the-air digital TV.

The Bravia KDL-22PX300 is available for the equivalent of $312 (£200) and comes with one DualShock controller along with the usual TV remote. [via RegHardware]
