AMD has introduced two new Black Edition processors, the Phenom II X6 1100T and the Phenom II X2 565. The AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition is AMD’s new flagship and offers PC builders unlocked clock multipliers, Turbo Core technology and the performance offered by six-cores. The Phenom II X2 565 Black Edition dual-core also offers performance-tuning features for enthusiasts but at a more affordable price.

The AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition is clocked at 3.3GHz and is retailing for $305. The AMD Phenom II X2 565 Black Edition is clocked at 3.4GHz and is retailing for $136.
