App designed for wireless all-in-ones

Epson has introduced an update to its iOS app, PrintJinni, that now allows users to take advantage a new interface dedicated to the iPad. The interface is said to be optimized for the iPad's larger screen, while overall usability is claimed to be more intuitive. Aside from the iPad optimizations, the update also offers faster navigation to multiple e-mail accounts, downloaded files, and printer settings.

The AirPrint utility is geared for the company's line of wireless all-in-ones, including WorkForce, Artisan, and Epson Stylus NX models. Users can preview and print PDFs, Word and PowerPoint documents, and JPEG e-mail attachments. iPad users can also print Pages, Numbers and Keynote documents.

While the current version of PrintJinni costs $7, the update will be available before the end of December for free.
