HP teams with Rossignol on limited Pavilion dv6s

HP has teamed up with ski gear maker Rossignol on two special-edition notebooks. Based on the Pavilion dv6, they sport unique designs that complement the styling of the Rossignol ski gear they're named after, with the Attraxion VIII Echo styled for women and the Freeride S7 for men. Also included is exclusive content such as wallpapers and a matching sleeve.

The special designs are printed with soy- and water-based inks and are made with recycled materials. The two otherwise share the same technical specs, including a 15.6-inch screen, a Core i5 processor, a 500GB 7,200RPM hard drive and Altec Lansing speakers.

Both notebooks will be available in Europe starting in January, with prices starting at the equivalent of $924 (€699). There is no indication if or when the devices will arrive in North America.
