eLocity A7 Android 2.2 tablet now shipping

Those who pre-ordered the eLocity A7 tablet will begin receiving the tablets on Monday, maker Stream TV Networks announced. The sev-inch device is said to be the first to use Android 2.2 in the US and is available through Amazon, among other sites, for $370. Its dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 (T20) processor is one of the first to ship in the US and lets it play back 3D movies and more advanced games.

The tablet otherwise sports 512MB of RAM, 4GB of flash storage and a microSDHC memory card slot for adding up to 32GB of extra content. There is also a USB port and an HDMI output. Rounding off the specs are a 1.3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and two 0.5W speakers. The multi-touch screen has an 800x480 resolution.
