Device detailed in several earlier leaks
HTC has posted advertisements teasing the upcoming Thunderbolt handset, which has yet to be formally introduced. Earlier leaks have paired the device with a variety of names ranging from Incredible HD to Mecha, however the ad briefly directed visitors to a broken link that appears to confirm the Thunderbolt label.
"It's not your dream phone," the ad reads. "It's the one after that."
The handset is rumored to integrate a 4.3-inch display, along with a second-generation Snapdragon processor. Press materials seem to confirm dual cameras as a primary feature, enabling users to place video calls.
Reports suggest the Thunderbolt represents HTC's Desire HD customized for Verizon's 4G LTE network. The handset will be officially unveiled on January 6 at CES in Las Vegas. [via Android Central]
