Dell Streak 7 and Moto Cliq 2 get leaked date

An as yet unconfirmed rumor on Tuesday night has pinpointed the T-Mobile launches of the Dell Streak 7 and possibly the unannounced Motorola Cliq 2. Both would reportedly ship on January 19 and might be unveiled at CES on January 6. The date is tentative even for the source and might change, TmoNews was told.

The Streak 7 is mostly known to be a size upgrade and freshening of the original streak with a seven-inch screen, Android 2.2 and 3G that would work with both AT&T and T-Mobile. Its 802.11n Wi-Fi would still be a performance upgrade, but it's still unknown whether it would move up from the 1GHz Snapdragon chip.

Virtually nothing is known about the Cliq 2. By its name, it would very likely have to use a QWERTY slider design. Motorola is also likely to upgrade the performance and use a newer version of Android along with its most recent version of its Motoblur layer.
