Winners of the Buckyball Giveaway

Our Buckyball giveaway has come to an end, and after reading through hundreds of entries we finally have our winners.

First up we have Mark Wallace, who sent us this entry that is truly out of this world. "Aliens landed in my backyard and told me that it was my destiny to win the Gold Buckyballs. The fate of the world depends on me winning these Buckyballs!" Well Mark, the aliens told us the same thing, so for obvious reasons we have to comply.

Next up is Roger Smith, who, like many of you, works at an office. "I need Buckeyballs for those times when access to the internet is down at work. If you can't keep busy by checking email, running TPS reports or updating your Facebook page, Buckeyballs to the rescue. Buckeyballs, for when you need more than moxie!" Roger, we will send you a set, but we need to talk about your TPS reports. Yeah. Did you get that memo? It's just we're putting new cover sheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great.

And Jonathan Lewis, who said "I'm working on building a crude version of the T-1000 Terminator (the liquid metal one) out of these things. I've run out of money, though, and the stupid thing's sitting in my garage until I can scrape up enough cash for the last 216 magnets to make the tip of his nose. If I can get these, he'll look (in his human form) like Robert Patrick. If not, he'll look like Voldemort. And after all, when my Buckyball-Terminator is ruling the planet, wouldn't you rather be forced to look at Robert Patrick than some guy with no nose? Plus, I'll be the one who decides who lives and who dies, and I'll totally remember the solid you guys did for me. Anyway, in summary: Go with me if you want to live. Thanks!" While we don't support your plans for global domination, we understand that you are already well on your way to completion of this project and we highly value our own existence's. Hey, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

That concludes our Buckyball giveaway, thanks to everyone who entered! Winners, you should have a confirmation e-mail from us in your inbox, please fill out the confirmation form in its entirety and return it to us as soon as possible. More contests and giveaways are coming soon from MacNN and Electronista.
