Swann SportsCam shoots video up to 65' underwater

Ahead of its public unveiling at CES, security camera maker Swann Security has officially taken the wraps off its rugged, waterproof DVR-460 SportsCam. The device can take still photos and videos at up to under 65 feet of water, though at just 640x480 resolution. There is no internal memory onboard, with all recordings and photos stored on microSD cards.

The built-in lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 2.5 hours of recording and can be recharged over the USB cable. The camera ships with a plethora of Velcro straps, clips, belts, waterproof pin and case clips and a multi-bracket to help mount the camcorder.

When the SportsCam arrives in February, it will carry a $99 price tag.
