New utility aims for easy overclocking

Amid a myriad of Sandy Bridge introductions this week, MSI unveiled several new motherboards built for Intel's latest processor family. The P67- and H67-series motherboards feature MSI's overclocking control center, geared for easy setup or advanced configuration, while the EFI BIOS brings a graphical interface navigable using a mouse cursor.

The flagship Big Bang Marshal offers eight x16/x8 PCI Express slots, four DDR3 RAM slots, and eight USB 3.0 ports. The new models are also built with higher-quality components, such as tantalum capacitors and SFC chokes.

MSI has yet to announce pricing or launch dates for its upcoming motherboards.
