A follow-up visit to goPod's iPad 2 and 'iPhone 5' dock

We see what happened to the goPod iPad 2 case
We took a visit to see goPod Mobile at CES this week after it was learned that the company had not just a pre-release iPad 2 dock but a mockup of the tablet based on the blueprints. Not surprisingly, the company has already taken the mockup out of view, but it's unusually still promoting the future iPad's dock quite prominently. A full-size stand still prominently advertises the iPad 2 case and dock, and shows a self-made rendering with a front camera and other similar details gleaned elsewhere.
The company was clearly self-conscious about drawing too much attention from Apple and tried to discourage photos, albeit only very loosely. A hand-drawn "no photos, thank you" note was taped to the stand but wasn't being monitored. The company didn't explain why it wanted to avoid photography but still pitch the unofficial add-on.
Along with the next-generation iPad, it also continued to show a listing for an "iPhone 5" in the dock's support listings. As it almost exactly resembled the iPhone 4, it suggested this might actually be the CDMA iPhone and not the mid-2011 revamp.
As shown, the new iPad corroborates many earlier claims, including the iPod touch-style tapered back, front and back cameras, and a larger speaker. Companies like goPod will rarely if ever go on the record on how they get such details but have usually admitted to making factory deals with Foxconn staff to get access to confidential Apple measurements and details.
