MSI FX400, FX603 and FX700 reach US

MSI helped wrap up the week by bringing four of its speedier notebooks to the US. The 15.6-inch FX603 and 17-inch FX700 are together targeted at mid-range gamers. Each packs GeForce GT 425M along with a 2.66GHz Core i5, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive along with a pair of USB 3.0 ports each.

The 14-inch line is split into two models and focuses more on the mainstream. As its starter, the FX400-063US starts off with a 2.53GHz Core i3, USB 2.0 only and a more modest GeForce GT 325M but still has the 4GB of memory and 500GB hard drive. Advancing to the FX400-062US nets a 2.66GHz Core i5 while keeping the other underlying parts the same.

All of the notebooks should be available through Amazon and Newegg with the exception of the most recent FX700, which for now is found only through MSI's own store.
