Eldar Murtazin gives Vivaz 2 thumbs-up

Eldar Murtazin has given the forthcoming Sony Ericsson Vivaz 2 (also known as the MT15i and the Halon) a pre-release working over. It is one of the first phones to come pre-installed with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and according to Murtazin, it is one of Sony Ericsson’s best attempts at an Android phone yet.

Among the highlights users can expect are an excellent front-facing camera, long-lasting 1500mAh battery and Sony’s new Reality Display tech featured in the phone’s 854x480 display. The device is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7630 chip coupled with Adreno 205 graphics and matched with 512MB of RAM.

The mid-range Xperia handset is expected to unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
