T-Mobile to sell Streak 7 for $330 on contract?

(Update with T-Mobile response) T-Mobile's product page for the upcoming Dell Streak 7 reveals the device may cost just $330 when purchased on-contract. There are three payments of $82.50 required after a down payment of $82.50 is put down, which mimics the pricing scheme for other T-Mobile devices purchased on contract. The scheme is called the Equipment Installment plan, and allows buyers to make the purchases interest-free.

If it holds up, the price is relatively competitive, especially when compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab that also sports a seven-inch screen at T-Mobile. The Streak 7 offers a faster, 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, however, and promises to output 1080p video and support HSPA+ access.

While T-Mobile's page has still only said the device is coming soon, a leak may have shown that February 2 will be the release date. [via StreakSmart]

Update: T-Mobile has followed up and says the current pricing clues are the result of a "technical error" and that the final pricing will be different.
