Notion Ink Adam unboxed in the UK
UK resident Shane Trafford was one of the first buyers of the Notion Ink Adam tablet who has received the device and has shared his unboxing experience with the world thanks to NotionInkFan. He purchased the model equipped with Wi-Fi and the the Pixel Qi display, as he uses his Android phone's data connection to connect to mobile networks. Trafford also revealed it took him 20 minutes to download the first required update when first powering up the device.
The included screen protector was also reportedly a pain to install. Trafford recommended that anyone else attempting this should make sure their hands are clean and dry before the procedure begins, much as with most screen protectors.
The 10.1-inch tablet started shipping on time, as promised, and uses Android 2.2 customized with Eden. It comes powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip and has both front and rear cameras with 1080p-capable HDMI output for recorded video.
